All things Cafe Racer
This summer has seen Cafe Racer Kits team busier than ever as we try to get out and meet more biker folk, get organized in the shed and develop new kits for next year.
Brackley Festival of Motorcycling
We had a fabulous day at the Brackley Festival of Motorcycling. It was our first visit here and we were amazed and pleased at the turnout. An early start for us (4am ferry), we packed our van the day before and reached the town centre at 8. This event takes some organizing but the town and council are very supportive of the event as it raises money for the Air Ambulance. We were placed in the ‘new for this year’, Cafe Racersection in the Piazza. The town closes off the main streets for the day and what they cram into it makes your brain hurt! A mini speed track and arena, trials and off road section, clubs and organisations, custom section, live music, food and drink. There were bike parks and helmet parks and it was very geared up to the motorcycle enthusiast. We had a great day, met hundreds of people, talked until we lost our voices and got home around 1am. If you haven’t been, it’s well worth a day out. (Photo Sarah Glover)
